Fallout 4 Landscape Mods List

Ever wondered what the wasteland would look like if nature returned with a vengeance to consume everything it touched? If so, then these may be the mods for you.

A YouTube video by hodilton, posted yesterday, makes use of three different mods to achieve a greener Fallout 4. The mods in question are as follows:

  • Five Mods That Push Fallout 4’s Post-Apocalyptic Visuals To The Limit. By Jim McCauley on Fri, Jan 08 2016 Featured Stories, Games, Mods. Fallout 4 is one of 2015's most ambitious and immersive games, with a vast open world to explore and an enormous branching story to experience.

  • Resurrection – for new grass, landscape, and buildings textures, as well as new ambient sounds.
  • Grasslands – which brings in not only other new grass textures, but also flowers and modified debris, beaches, and marshlands.
  • PhotoRealistic Commonwealth – this last mod adds in a tonne of graphical tweaks to make everything look sharper and more, as the name suggest, photorealistic.

The only downside to running a more Skyrimey Fallout is you’ll need a decent rig to get it all working. Over on the Reddit thread, one user reckons you’ll need an Intel Core i7, 16GB of RAM, and something like a MSI GTX980Ti Gaming 6G graphics card to get everything running as it should.

Vivid All-in-One is a mod that changes how Fallout 4 looks with all the options available upon installation. From the landscape to the vegetation, to even the weather, the mod has it all.

On the subject of mods, Xbox One users are set to receive mod support sometime after Fallout 4’s next DLC, Far Harbor, arrives. If you’re a PS4 player in need of mods, you can expect them to reach the Sony platform at some point next month.
